Default new with question

Hello, I'm new to this forum and I have a simple question about my heater core. My heater core recently went out in my 96 blazer LT and I just bypassed it. My question is: Can I just leave it like that? Living in Florida I'm not to concerned with the idea of not having heat, but I don't want the coolant system messing up. It is already running slightly hot. Thank you.

Welcome. There are lots of discussions about the heater cores on your generation blazer. Do a quick search and see what that yields. If you don't find what you need post up in the appropriate forum and you will probably get more help than you need.

Welcome! I too am in Florida, Gainesville that is. Where abouts are you? I know dudes that have done the same bypass thing and they have not had any problems. It's a bitch getting to that damn heating core but easy to replace. Getting to it is the whole job.
