Hello everyone I decided to register with the site because I've looked on here for numerous tips while working on my Blazer. It has been really helpful. I wanted to join so I could hopefully help others and to just basically discuss rides.
I currently own a 1999 Chevy Blazer 4.3 2wd. The only mods I have done to it is a cool air intake and installed a throttle body spacer. I'm at 142k miles and I have done a ton of work on it. Transmission went out on me around 135k and I've had that rebuilt. I'll post more later on all the work I have done to it.
Before I owned the 99 Blazer I owned a 92 GMC Sonoma 4.3 with 700R4 transmission. I bought the truck with around 140K on it, and when I sold it, it had 250K miles on it still going strong. Never any major engine or transmission work. All the other maintenance and work I did on it myself.
I look forward to meeting and chatting with you guys.
