New in the world of S10 Blazer ZR2 4x4
Hi! I recently buy a 1999 Chevy Blazer ZR2 4x4, and I found this forum, my previous truck was a K5 1994 Blazer 4x4 (awesome truck), but I sold it because of the age and i needed something similar but more practical, didn’t know what to spect about this Blazer model, and plus I got her in a auction without previously seeing the damage... MECHANNICAL! ...
So... the truck arrived, minor details, dirty inside, crank it and turned on nicely BUT the 4x4 autoswitch was nuts , none of the 4 buttons worked, and the lights where always on and the tranny was stuck in 4low, I manage to drive it to my home really slow and I first prepared myself with tons of possible solutions that I found in this forum, first and easiest, disconnect the ground terminal from the battery, wait like 15 min (I waited 2 and a half hours), reconnect and try...............
It worked!, started on 4low but only his light was on, so, N and pushed 2Hi and the light blinked, seconds later 4low light goes of and 2Hi remain solid on.... Thank you so much!!!.. So from now on I will be glad to be part to this forum, I read some comments that maybe the problem comes back, well if that happens it feels good that I have plenty of things to try.
Finally here is the pictures of my previous ride and the new one, see you later!.
p.s. im trying to be better at English.
