Default Newb from the caribean

Hello everyone.

I'm from the island of Puerto Rico and recently got an 84 S-10 Blazer 4wd. It has been on the family since new. It's bone stock, but that should be about to be changed. In the meantime, I'll just fix up the little things it has to put her back on the road. It has the 2.8L v6 w auto trans, so it moves like a but has been practically untouched, sans for a timing chain replacement, oil seals & valve cover gaskets. I hope to learn a lot in here and meet some good people.

Puerto Rico eh? I'm pretty sure you are the only one on the forum from the Caribean.

Thanks for the welcoming, and as the saying goes, "you learn something new everyday."

Thanks. I was just searching for that, since that thing is slower than a mule compared to the 4.0L cherokee I previously had, heck even my 1.6L Protege is waaaaay faster than that thing lol. Is that an easy swap to do? Also, the brakes tend to lock up at the rear when it's cold, then work fine when warmed up. I already replaced the master cylinder, pads, brake shoes & cylinders. Some years ago it had the brake distribution block replaced. Am I missing something?
