Stumbled across this forum when doing a general search on an issue I'm facing on a (new to me) 2001 Jimmy 4WD. Have always wanted this 2 door model and happened upon one a few months ago. Just getting time and resources to apply toward this new adventure. Recently replaced the Spider Injector Assembly with an aftermarket EFI unit from RockAuto. New pressure regulator that is part of the assembly corrected the hard start issue. Runs nicely now, but am hearing occassional grumble from right front when slowing down from 50ish in 2WD. New CV axles and wheel hub assemblies in the front. Read a post describing a vacuum actuator that may be a part of the issue. That will be my next check.

I've always enjoyed gleaning the expertise of these type forum members. Was very active on a similiar one for my Vulcan VN750 a couple years back. Looking forward to perusing the posts and hope to one day be a valued contributor.
