Newbie to the board. I'm a chick and a mini-trucker at heart. I've been in the sport for over a decade and have always wanted a blazer and now I'm the proud owner of 2. Bought a 82' to build but now it has become a parts truck. I bought an 85 a couple months ago and should be starting on it this weekend.

Was just wondering if anyone other than me still loves the old body style. Thanks

WELCOME! Oh yeah, definitely lots of 1st Gen love here! They're getting up there in age but I'd still prefer a square body over the 2nd Gens. Post up some pics of your trucks when you get chance, we'd love to see your build progress!

I might would have had one for you...until I cut the roof off. Now under the car cover it looks like the Batmobile since the highest point is now the top of the doors.

Welcome aboard.

I'm in the other direction, I prefer the newer models but I have respect for the older ones

Anyways, would love to see pictures and hope the progress goes smooth!
