Newbie from central LA
That's Louisiana, not Los Angeles! I've recently bought a sadly abused and neglected 1995 Jimmy SLE 4d 2WD. I was net-searching for information on fixing up Jimmys and noticed some threads here; in a whole lot of ways they're the same vehicle so this site is a gold mine of sorts.
I got this Jimmy after moving here, for about $500 originally expecting it to be the kind of vehicle that just lasts long enough for me to get a better vehicle. But I'm playing with the idea of hanging onto it and fixing it up. It will need a bit of work and it'll be spread out over time, but I'm up for it.
