Newbie from Ct checking in
Hi. I just found this forum. I just bought a 96 Blazer 4-door 4x4 w 163K on it and was looking for info and that is how I stumbled across this site. While I am new to the blazer world, for the past 5 years I have owned a '95 GMC Sonoma 4x4 pick-up. Unfortunately I was in an accident and it was totalled. I was looking for another Sonoma or an S-10 pick-up, but this Blazer came up and the price was right.
A little about me. My name is Bob. I am married and live in Connecticut. I own 2 classic Mustangs, the Blazer and my wife has an 06 Pontiac G6. I used to be a full time mechanic, but left the field 12 years ago due to back problems. While I'm not up on the current technology, I hope I can contribute to the forum and hope to learn more about my "new" vehicle.

Welcome Aboard!
Once a Dimer... Always a Dimer
You will find allot of the stuff from your Sonoma knowledge works with the Blazer/Jimmy.
Ive had 3 total..
89 std bed/ std cab 2.2l S-10
98 Longbed/Std Cab 4.3 S-10 (Still owned in CO)
03 Blazer LS/4.3 (Still Owned in Kuwait)
the part numbers change, but the basic design stays the same.
