Newbie from LI, NY
Hello world...
Joined the forum a couple days ago, and my first post, and first vehicle with an ODB-II computer.
Been poking around the site a bit, especially on the "2nd Gen S-series Blazer" area. Just got a '99 LS 4x4x2. 4-button; 4wd, 2-door, with 204,000-ish on the odo.
Runs like &^%!! So far it moved no more the 20' - on the trailer; then off...
I have a full tune-up "coming soon" - all ACDel (rotor, cap, wires, plugs, and fuel), Hastings oil and air, Puraltor PCV and Dormann PVC boot/90 hose/tube. That's just a quick once-over. Should keep me busy for a few minutes...
No know history of it - bought sight-Unseen... I figure a "tune-up" is at least a start..
Have planed / "to do" :
"tune-up"
do the "big 3" electric (thanks to HERE!)
do the Capt.'s fuel system check (sending unit is in-op - MAY do a fuel pump assembly change-out w/ a Delphi unit... dependent on the test results)
??? as needed..
Tools on-hand :
an OTC SPX Scan-pro (used - but couldn't pass the price)
Full tool box
Experience :
'93 K-3500 w/250,000+
know which end of a screw-driver to hold...
On-Order :
BAFX scan tool
"tune-up" kit
Can get my hands on:
Snap-On Solarus scanner
"Master" OTC fuel/vac. test set
Just about anything else - within a case, or so, of beer....
Sorry about the babble - it's my Friday and half in the bag now...
PJ
PS - moderators please move this to where it needs to be; not sure-here or the Gen-2 side...

Therein lies the problem... All my vehicles are the same color today, same as the driveway, the grass... When it lets less white, I'll snap some.
