Hello, I am from NE suburbs of Detroit. Clinton Township actually, so not a lot of places to go off road, but once I get some extra cash I plan to do a few mods. Lift, bigger tires etc etc. Right now though this is my daily driver so until I get something else to drive to work I'll have to keep it stock. Besides I am not even sure how much lift I can get away with before changing driveshafts and brakelines etc etc?? Ahha I have found a new search topic.
Cheers
Chris

haha wow i thought i was slightly mechanically inclined because i could do 3/4 of what your list was, so you're either better than you think, or i'm worse than i think haha, and yeah it takes me so so long to do the simplest things! but then once you do it you're like yeah i can do that now! but if you do it right you'll likely not need to do it again haha. but i guess it's all fun and games with fixing cars

being in Clinton Township you still should have Mumbly's Offroad off of Gratiot and i think like 14 mile? i could be wrong its been a while. to get parts if needed... i have bought quite a bit of the BDS stuff they sell there... and not terrible pricing.. and if you get in over your head they install suspension and body lifts there for ya..

Yes, Mumblys is still there. I willhave go in there and check them out. I'll report back if I find any deals. I am not sure if I would know a good deal if I see one though. Do they even make winch bumpers for Blazers??
