Hi guys and gals, new guy from southern NJ. I have a 95 2dr GMC 4wd Jimmy that I have some "Grand plans" for. Im hoping to do a sas conversion using a D30 and a 8.8 rear. Going to look at some axles this coming week. I also have a low mile 97 vortec 350 sitting in my moms garage thats just begging to be put into the Jimmy. I also want to convert it to a NV3500 5 speed, the 4L60E is starting to have issues. I really hope I can pull this off with out too many issues! Looking forward to chatting with everybody.

Welcome from VA!! Don't waste your time with he D30 look for a D44 its alot stronger and you can usually find them for the same price if you search around a bit!
