Default Newbie from NW Ohio

Hi,

Just wanted to take a minute and introduce myself, as the screen name implies, yes I am a MoPar man at heart (not here to bash or even compare), now with a GM (MrMopar+GM).

It has been close to 28 years since last owning a GM, in my teens I had four Chevy Vega’s, two rebuilt 4 cyl and two with V8 conversions, a 74 Olds Delta 88 Royale 2 door with a 350 4bbl, and of course, a 67 Camaro with a mild 327.

Yes, owning a GM again is a bit of a shock, and I have taken my share of “what’s up with that”!

I just purchased a clean 96 Blazer LS 2 door, 4X4 for utility and winter use here in NW Ohio.

I am just learning about the little nuances with the vehicle and starting to go through and fix the little issues that a 14 yr old vehicle has, and so far have found a lot of helpful information on here.

So, hello to everyone and thanks for the useful information!

Most people (like myself) were 'satisfied' by having just one Vega.

finally, another!

as for your collection of Vega's, well...............a hobby is a hobby.

a good friend of mine had a V8 vega in high school. as you know, those things were (are) ridiculous. i actually had a 305 from a '79 Monza, that i built up (considerably) and dumped into a '81 Chevy LB. definately don't see many Vega's (or Monza's) around much any more.

Welcome!

And old skool, I had an '80 Monza with the 3.8 V6. Most folks don't even know what a Monza is (or was). Fun little car but that 3.8 was a little anemic for me back then.
