For the benefit of other members - just thought I'd drop a note to say I'm still trucking along in my black beast.
Made contact with the tooth-dr. For useless info to you guys in the US / Canada, LHD & RHD ball joints are the same - but that's where it ends! The rest, including the steering box is different!
And about those fender flares - sorry guy's - not for sale! LOL

I just received my LHD track rod ends and they are identical to my own RHD ones. The idler arm is also the same. The pitman arm is different. Haven't fitted the balljoints yet but they look the same.

Interesting. I'd have thought they'd be upside down if they moved from left to right. I know my steering box is different from what is shown in the Haynes manual. Had it replaced at at just before or after 100,000km.

I wonder if they use the same Saginaw steering gear, but with a special casting. If so, maybe you can simply reuse your housing but install the internals from a lhd steering box.

The track rod end were a lot cheaper than the ones I was quoted for over here. I ordered them from the states.

I would imagine the steering box is the same inside. It couldn't be viable to made a completely different one for a few RHD cars c
