Unhappy Newbie in Virginia - 91 s10 blazer 4x4 fuse issues

Hi! Need help badly! My 91 s10 blazer 4x4 recently just started to QUIT while driving. Long story short, after replacing battery, alternator, and dash gauge fuse ( which had been blowing repeatedly). I took it to my mechanic and he found and replaced a ground wire that was almost broken through (all he told me) and it ran great for about a week. Then my turn signals (all 4) stopped working but tail lights and break lights worked, so he replaced a "flasher". This fixed the problem.... UNTIL.. half way home (about 8 miles) the speedometer, battery gauge and the light on the 4x4 shifter in floor stopped working!!. The blazer was still running but I took it back to him the next day! That was over a week ago and as of today he says he is still trying to figure it out!!

ANY IDEAS PLEASE!! AND THANKS IN ADVANCE!!
