I grew up working on Chevy vehicles. My first truck was a 4x4 silverado, which I kept until I was stationed in Pearl Harbor. My first project car was a Nova, which I sold then got a Camaro and sold prior to entering the Navy. Had plenty of other project cars that I was commisioned to restore, but most weren't Chevrolet related. I always wanted a square body Blazer, and now that I moved to the PNW after seperating from the Navy I found one.
I purchased my '84 a few months ago and I'm just doing minor repairs here and there to get her up and running as a daily driver. Currently she doesn't like to start. "60% of the time, it works every time." The previous owner's daughter drove her as a daily driver and they had been pouring gasoline into the carb in order to get her to start. My fear is that they may have used too much gasoline and flooded the engine, damaging the spark plugs. Fingers crossed that's all it is.
I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you fellow Blazer owners and learning any tips or tricks that ya'll may have.
