Man, that blazer is in excellent shape. You really found a gem there. Heck i dont think you can find em that nice in AZ, LOL. Just out of curiousity (if you dont mind my asking), how much did ya pay for it? With the shape its in,that low of miles, and a newer motor that thing must have pulled a pretty decent price.

Thanks for the kind comments, RCars2. I looked and looked for a couple of months on craigslist and ebay before finding this one. I checked out 8 or 10 Blazers in person. Missed out on a nice one because by the time I got back in town and contacted him after I looked at it, he had sold it. It's in good to excellent shape, inside and out. Has a couple of small issues (power doorlock solenoid is bador a wire has come undone& cheap rusty headers)and those are easily repaired. I don't mind you asking...seller gave it up for $3500. So, above book buta better price than some of the crap I waded through to find this one.

Seller delivers tomorrow. He wanted to clean it out, clean it up and pull all his receipts so I could have them.

Beyond the minor fixes, not much. A front brush bar, lights, GM or Holley TBI, HEI, a good set of headers and new exhaust. Maybe a small lift and some suspension freshening. I think I may re-do the interior later. It needs a new steering stabilizer. I won't be muddin', rock crawling or anything like that. It will get me to those muddy Spring fishing spots, up to the snow in winter, summer beach cruising with the top off.

Pretty much gonna leave it stock with some enhancements.

Welcome nice looking K5. I have always liked them. Eventually when I get a steady job I hope to dig into restoring one into a sweet off road rig. post up if you have any questions.
