Default noob with a project

hey everyone, I guess I am the new guy (as of this moment) I have been lurking around this forum for sometime just absorbing info and some really great storys I have found on here.
I have a 94 blazer LT I have appropriately named the preditor 5.0 (4.3 4x4 vin W)that is quickly becoming a project, originally I had planned on not really spending any money on it since I only paid $100 for it, well after around 300k miles it just wont die and the body and int are in great condition (all the digital gauges also work ) so I decided to dump some money into it. now I have a tuned port 305... yes a 305 that I chose as the future engine because all you ever here is how the 305 is a pos and not worth it, well I dont like people telling me I cant do something so the goal is around 400hp and all wheel drive using the Tcase I pulled from an astro van, handling the fuel management will be a MegaSquirt 2 (or 3 if its out before I am done building the engine) I have many pics but noone to host them for me so here is a link http://s221.photobucket.com/albums/d...lazer/?start=0
Let me know what ya think

thank you, but I dont plan on it being black and white lol. when I get all the body work done, still need to grind the welds down from the holes in the top where the roof rack was and also the spare tire on the back. I do on the other hand plan on it being all flat black, I dont think I will even bother with all that until I have a chance to lower it though. on the bright side there is no bondo or fiberglass anywhere on the truck and all the dents in it are very small from door dings
oh and because I know people are wondering why the engine is sitting on cushions on the floor, its because I had not had the chance to put it on the stand (had to lift it by hand)
