I just wanted to stop by and say hi to everyone. Here's some back story. When I turned 16 my parents had an extra car for me to drive back and forth from school and work a 2001 Blazer (my parents owned a 1st gen too) 4 door 4 wheel drive in navy blue. It's been a great car for me. About a month ago I finally saved up enough money to buy my first car. I look at ebay, car soup, and craigslist for a car not really finding something I really wanted. I consider a car for a while (most likely a grand prix) but I really like the Blazer and having 4 wheel drive in the winter. I finally saw a nice clean Blazer online. I had planned a vacation the following week and it was about a half hour from where this Blazer was. I took a look at it and fell in love with it instantly. But I couldn't buy it I had to put together some financing. Well the following Monday I got everything together.

I picked up my new (for me) Blazer this week Thursday and had it taxed titled and licensed Friday. Today it got it's first wash and waxing.

BTW I'm 17 (18 in August) and the Blazer is a 2 door, auto, 4x4, tan interior, with the spare tire on a rack in the back

lol finally another guy from the area, all the other WI members are from the southern part of the state.

 

From what I've seen a lot of member are from southern states too.

since I'm a noob I can ask dumb questions. How do I tell if my Blazer is a ZR1? (it's a LS)
