Whats up everyone got a great deal on a Red ZR2 just like the one on the page(uP). Cant wait to really use it.

Moving to the U.P. in 2 months.

Just a couple questions:

What tires can i put on a stock ZR2?

I know this is repeative but, what engine upgrades can i do to gain mpg or gain hp and not lose mpg?

Did the stock Zr2 come with built in trailer brakes?
(mine has 7 wires out the back just wondering, would be nice)

Anything else i should know?

All the regular stuff has been done within 3 years(fuel pump , intake gasket....)

welcome and congrats on ur purchase, if you have some spare time all ur questions will be easily answered by using the search function. as for the trailer brakes i know mine has the 7 pin hookup, but i dont have trailer brakes so idk if they were an option or just not availible at all, but im sure someone with a lil more knowledge on the subject will chime in and let you know for sure.

welcome to the forum! dont know if it will help but you could try a search for the RPO Decoder. My (non ZR2) truck has the following code: U89 WIRING HARNESS, CAR TRAILER. There might be an upgraded version of that code on yours (i.e. U## Wiring Harness, Tow Package or something). It's a long shot but might help *shrug*
Those guys live in your glove box on the drop down door. G/L
