Default re-furbish 95 Blazer

When I move back to CT I'm going to be driving my Blazer. I want to overhaul the whole thing and I considering installing a tow package and mybe a plow. Pretty much everything needs to be work over except for the engine. There is about 120,000 miles on it. Immediate repairs are the 4-wheel drive system. When driving just normal without the 4-wheel drive engaged the wheel makes a horriable noise. If anyone has any suggestions for me I would love to hear them. Thanks
