Default So-cal newbie w/ 1979 2wd blazer

Hi All,
Just found this forum and thought I'd join up. I have a 1979 Chevy 2wd Blazer and am the 2nd ownder of it. It's factory red and lowered a couple inches. Solid windows in the back with air-bags in the back for towing my flatbottom boat. When I blew up the small-block I built a 468 big-block and put a 700-R4 trans in it. I've had it since 1990 and it's been bitchin ever since. If I can find some pics of it, I'll post em.

Lol!! I will get some pics up but I think I have to scan them first...they're old!! Anyway, I tried to make the motor look as stock appearing as I could because it still needs to be "smogged" and has to look factory. But we all know that its not. Thanks for the welcome guys.

Here are a couple I just took...sad to say that I'm thinkin about getting rid of the old girl due to the economy. I don't want to but it might come to that.

Open it up! Open it up!

basically stock looking 454 in a Blazer (even if 2wd) is a 454 in a blazer....
Show the goods! take it off, or GTFO!
