Hey yall.. Nice to "kinda" meet you! New-ish to the forums but not to blazers..
When I was a kid, my dad drove a kick-*** 69 Blazer. 307, 3 on the tree, 4x4, dark green with a white top. I loved that thing & it started my love for the Blazer..
My first truck was a 75 blazer 4x4 with fully removable top & rust holes you could throw a cat through! (loved it, wish I had it now!).
Some years later, I also owned an 86 full size..
Even later, I owned a 92 S-15 Jimmy 4 door..
2 years ago I sold my awesome 99 Tahoe 2 door, ex game-warden truck..
I recently acquired a 99 4 door Blazer 4x4. Just finished putting new lifters in it tonight. Trying to find a set of C-5 wheels for it..

My other truck is a 99 silverado, ext cab, 4x4 with the 4.8L.. I bought it in Jan 03 w/ 54k, it just turned 205k & still runs like a scared rabbit. I've had it so long it's like part of the family..

I grew up the son of a GM mechanic. Although I'm not one myself, I can certainly hold my own under the hood. (phone-man by trade) I'm a die-hard GM fan, even through all the bankruptcy & govt buyout crap that sickens me!! I also have a love for air-cooled VW's..

I can almost throw a rock & hit the corvette plant from my house..

Thanks bro!
That brief history only included the Blazers I've owned or been a part of... I think my total lifetime vehicle count is close to 40 & I'm only in my mid 30's!! (I don't stay satisfied very long.. lol!!)

I had a convertable 72 K-5 I know what your talking about what a beast . In 4 low it sounded so bad and all 4 tyres would throw mud straight up about 30 feet , you didn't want to have the top off when 4 wheeling thats for sure.

Thanks! I'm slowly gathering parts for the K5 and somewhat procrastinating until I have the money to build a shop at my house.

Every man needs a man-cave!!! I built a 30x30 shop a few years ago.. Concrete floor, electricity, water & wood heat. I'd go crazy without it!!
