Probably a lot of years. Have to keep it with the same drivetrain (2wd or 4x4) and number of doors (2 or 4).

im just wondering. cause i got a 1986 blazer. and it hasnt moved since like 5 years ago. and im restorin it. and the engine is rusted. and i have no idea about the trans. it doesnt even start. it doesnt make any noise when i put the key in and turn it. my friend said find the main choke. and ive looked up wheres the main choke on the engine. its a 2.8 fuel injection. and i dont think it has a choke? does it?

Well if your restoring it, why not do an upgrade to the motor unless you want it all original??

well what do you mean upgrade the engine.? i was thinkin about making the blazer a v8 instead of a v6, if thats what you mean?. like pretty much what i want to do with the blazer. is getting a new paint job. but thats last and same with the carpet in it. new engine. maybe a manual transmission instead of the auto. which i like the manuals. maybe raise it or lower it alot. new bumpers black. maybe chrome. new headlights, taillights. and new grille. new seats. tinted windows. shaved door handles. suicide doors retro style. uh.. thats pretty much it. like the whole car in and out is goin to be blacked out.
