Well, you get what you pay for: another 'this is my name, and this is my truck' post from fresh meat. But hey a guy's got to start somewhere, right?

Let me start things off with a bang by admitting that I came within mere moments of selling my blazer. BUT, low and behold last week it found itself pampered with some brand new 31" tires. So, despite my wallet weighing as little as a feather, the truck, needless to say, will not be leaving my side anytime soon.

The truck in question is a 1998 ZR2, and despite a few of the typical Blazer issues, has been a champ thus far. This is not my first rodeo, as I owned a 98 4 door, 4x4 prior to this one. Dead transmission and lack of finances took that one out of my life, but life goes on, and I've always had a soft spot for the ZR2, so no complaints here.

I almost sold it to fund the restoration of my '73 Porsche 914, but decided the car has rotted inside the garage for years now, what's a couple more? These Blazers are addicting, and I am quite glad to still have it around.

Plans for it include a light bar, safari bar, all new speakers and head unit (That Delco just won't do!) I'll probably grab a few pictures of the beast tomorrow. Thanks for reading my post.
