What $1800 will get ya in va
Stumbled across this site while doing some research after purchasing my first 4x4. Have already started cleanin it up and gettin it ready to head back up north. Not too bad for the money, already has a 2" suspension and 31x10.5's. But gotta get the rear up at least another 1.5" to level her out.
Second pic is a result of trying to clean the wheels but no luck, so did the next best thing. Still gotta do the flares and the areas by the back windows and she should look alot better.

Welcome from New Zealand. Nice truck. I like the wheels - especially in black. And for $1800! Wow.

That Blazer would be a ZR2 option'd Blazer. Otherwise known as the "Hi & Wide Package."
Look in the bottom of your glove box for a list of option codes - Three letter clues to what you ride came with. Then you can google all the original options and find out what you really have.
Nice truck - not really sure why they would ditch the factory ZR2 rims though..?
Good find, Good Luck and welcome to the board!

Yea.... x2 on that...
I paid 1100 for this:
But stock, not with all those add ons...
But the fuel spider was going, adding a misfire, needed gaskets, and a few minor things..
Okay I got a better deal then the guy intended but still, whats wrong with it?

they thought it needed an abs pump and new brake lines, and they didnt want to put and didnt have anymore money after putting on other new parts (balljoints, tires, waterpump, +) and having the tbi reworked. So, I looked over the brake system, found 3 lines that were leaking on the abs pump, took em off readjusted them tightened them down and plugged in the cannon plugs, no problems since. I guess whoever had worked on it didnt put the lines back on square and i think the mechanic was probably tryin to milk them.
I am gonna check those codes, I was told it was not the ZR2 by the owners. they told me that the dealer had done the lift and put on the flares.

The flareletts on the front bumper are a pretty good indication that it is a ZR2. Aside from the lable in the glove box look in the front wheel wells. If it is a ZR2 it will be stamped into them on the back side, toward the body. Another not so good indication is the rear end sag. Do a quick search and you'll find how to fix that a couple of different ways.
I'll say that I have never seen a ZR2 with the "4X4" sticker on the rear quarters. They either came with a "ZR2" sticker there or nothing. My guess is some previous owner or dealer who didn't know it was a ZR2 put them on there.
I would say it is a ZR2 just from the flareletts alone and $1800 is a pretty good deal even with the minor problems it came with.
