Nice find! Body mounts on driver's side look shot, does the body lean at all? Something looks funny with the gaps around the driver's side door.

Both the doors were replaced right before it was painted because they were quite rusty...that may account for the gaps on the drivers side door. I don't think it leans at all...how would I tell if the body mount was bad?

Update on the transmission: I looked on car-parts.com and found a used Tranny with a 30 day guarantee for $200 plus $65 shipping. He said that the torque converter was not included. So I'm assuming that I can still use the old torque converter?

I would not put a used torque converter from a transmission that went south into a replacement, supposed to be working, transmission.

Update:

I just got back from getting the transmission. The first one I found ended up failing testing so I found another one that was tested with a 90 day warranty and a torque converter for $250. I have one of my buddies who is a mehcanic helping me with it. We are going to start on it this week hand hopefully have it going by this next week.

I have been looking around but does anyone have a write up on installing the TH350 transmission? If not then I could make one...but I am still not quite considered a mechanic . Thanks
