Hey, ya'll! I stumbled across the forum while looking into info and parts to change my catalytic converter on my '99 chevy blazer 4x4 myself. Everyone seemed to either know what they were talking about, or be about the same place in the learning process as myself. Since there's no end in sight to my repairs and betterments to my truck, sure seems like the right place for me.
I'm a 25 year old US Army medic (getting out in 2013), got started on my love of trucks with my Dad's s10 pick up, then changing the oil on his '98 blazer at age 12, when Dad decided it wasn't a bad idea to teach his daughter her way around an engine.
Still don't know a lot, but I'm learning.
After market stereo and speakers currently, planning on a lift kit and a custom paint job in the future, though I haven't made up my mind about specifics yet.
Nice to meet ya'll.

Well, thank you! I had a feeling there weren't too many ladies floating around these boards. Doesn't matter, though, I GUESS I can take some tips from the boys. (sarcasm!) Looking forward to getting to interact with folks and learn more.
