Default You guys reckon this turbo would work for my truck?

I was thinking of giving the Jimmy some boost. Do you think this would work? I can get it for free!!!

You may need to fab a custom intake for it. What is boost gain on that?

I dunno, may need to beef up the suspension first before worrying about the intake. That turbo has a maximum boost of 12psi, but it's the sheer volume of air that get's it.

LMAO! I doubt the flow from the exhaust on your truck would even cause the turbo to move.

LOL, no it wouldn't. Even for the engines they're built for they have to be spun by compressed air to get them going before the engine can start. You can see where the compressed air goes into the nozzles through the two 2" pipes at the top and bottom of the exhaust port in the picture above.

with that turbo you wouldn't need to worry that.

if it spools up, it'll drag anything & everything that's attached to it!
