I was working at Glen Helen in San Bernadino this weekend and there were people in trucks foolin around in the desert behind the track. From the looks of it, Id imagine that any place with public access would be a pretty fun time.

Ha dont remind me. Make sure that just because its open and its dirt that its not someones property. espciecally if their rich, and paranoid about their neighborhood, like to call cops over nothing, like to call everyone around them about it who also call the cops.... trust me it turns out bad

Go to this site and look for a 4x4 club in your local area.

Click me

Heres a link of Southern Ca clubs.
Southern CA

That ought to get oyu started.

One word of advice. Some clubs are Jeep only. That means most members are stuck up and think that the only 4x4 trucks capable of any off-roading are Jeeps. They typically sport stickers that say things like, "Its a Jeep thing, you wouldn't understand".

The common reply is. "I got your Jeep thing, now it hurts when I pee."
