BFG KM2's & they come in a 33 x 10.5 which will give you the height you want & a narrower tire for highway mpg's.
They're a great all around tire - look up reviews.

Goodyears have a good tread pattern but wear out quickly in my experience...

I have Cooper Discoverer ATRs on my '95 and they seem really nice... my first good experience with Coopers.

On my '87 I have BFG Commercial All Weathers. Not great for traction, but it's a 7000 lb 4x4 Suburban. They are pretty tough... very long wearing tires. I'd get them again.

I've got Hankooks DynaPros on my '98 Subby, and they are good for traction, but the wear is unacceptable. Way too soft.

I'd say Cooper or BFG.

I went with the Goodyear wrangler silent Armour 265/70/R16.
Like them so far about 5000km and they are quiet as stock on highway IMO.
Also they are winter rated so that is nice.

Would recommend them and by them myself again.

Thanks again fella's, I'm leaning towards Bfg Km2's and All terrains at the moment because of the fact that they come in 33 10.5 15, but still considering other options, thank you again for all the responses.

Goodyear Wrangler Territory from Canadian Tire! The very best off road tire I have had yet, I'm running a set of 31X10.5 R15, stock height 96 Jimmy ( jimmy - blazer their all the same) don't get stuck, I have hauled F150's and jeep yj's and everything in between. Love my Jimmy!! I'm going to be doing a SOA lift soon, going to go up to 33 X 12.50 R15. I will buy the same tires again!!
