Default Blazer to the resuce.

Well i got a call tonight, a friends truck was stuck in a wash and asked if i could help. When asked i told them i had a 4x4 blazer and they told me to come. I didn't think i was going to be able to pull them out. When i got there i saw a 2500 dodge ram v10 bottomed out in hole. I was like no way i was going to get them out. The dirt was extremely soft. But after some pulling in 4lo i was able to get them up and out of the hole. Who would think a sport suv would be able to pull out that massive truck. I'm extremely amazed on what it did. But now i noticed whenever i drive from a stop i hear a rubbing like its rubbing plastic but its not. Anyone have any ideas. I believe its comming from the front right tire.

BTW Paddle girl my blazer is beyond dirty.

well lets see some pictures....I love the dirty ones!!! yeah these little blazers really do continuously do some pretty amazing stuff...as for the rubbing sound..not really sure what to tell ya....could just be you paranoid? I get that way when I do something naughty with mine...I swear I hear problems or feel accelerating problems....when there really isn't...but maybe if ya asked in the tech section...you might get a little more help.....not everyone reads the off road section...

Yea, 4lo has a ton of torque. If you got the traction you can pull out some big stuff.

That would explain the noise. Glad to see you helped out.

Lol, theres no such thing as a dumb question when it comes to a blazer. When your yanking out a truck that probaly weighs close to 8500lbs yours torquing the motor and trans quite a bit, theres gunna be some give somewhere, just so happened to be the motor mount in this case.
