Talking Dirt to Mud=]

I just recently moved to The northwest suburbs of Chicago from Las Vegas.

Vegas was great! took my baby out to the dunes and dry lake beds all the time! she handles like a champ!!=]

but now that im all the hell out here, IDK of ANY places to get her dirty!

does anyone in this area, or know of anywhere in this area i can go mudding or off roading on some trails or something??

anyways there is a spot up here in wisconsin not far from the border that i am going to start going next spring. its in cedarburg. like an hour 15 minutes from kenosha (where i live) thats extreme mud though. no s-10 blazer can make it through unless it has a SAS.

the cliffs has some easy trails as long as it didnt rain for a few days, the mud is very clay like and turns into like ice and the whole place just becomes impossible. i see stock trucks out there all the time.

Sounds like fun. There's the badlands too over in Indiana (I think) but I have no clue just how far it actually is.

Yeah the badlands are in Indiana, has quite the reputation actually.. Only off-roading place you'll find here though, everything else is flat.

I haven't been to Cliffs yet but it is pretty close. Badlands is a lot of fun, I went there about a 1.5 months ago with a stock height blazer and went through the whole place except the rock area.

You can find a few small areas just by looking on Google Earth, just make sure it is ok to wheel there before going.
