Well last night around 9ish me and my friend were at his house bored...and he told me about this trail he rode past a week ago thatz not that far..So me being me I said lets go..Well we get there and its a construction site..Im thinkin ok piece of cake..Well first its all rock then dirt..I am in 2wd right now..Ok we come around a ben then I see the mudd and rtues..and since I never been back there before i have a saying for this situation.."If you dont kno how deep it is Hit Hard)..So I slam it in 2nd (still in 2wd)went through the mudd made it about 20 feet then PLUMP..sunk like a rock..Ok so I figure good time for 4wd...Switch it on..Floor it only muddd kicking up the front..So I pull it in reverse..ow I get it moving backwards but only about 10 feet then we stoped...My friend tried rocking it but we jus got deeper..So Finaly we called this kid with a Bronco with 35's that could make it down here...He cmae hooked the chains up..He pulls the ifrst time and his real bumper bends...( I am being pulled out backwards, so he is facing the opposite direction)....So finaly after about 6 or 7 pulls I break lose form the mudd..Then we get out of there..Boy wut a mess my blazer was after that...

dont feel bad, got an 05 4x4 colorado stuck IN 4wd in a snowbank while on a job. I think 4low is out friend, he did the same thing, hit 4hi, hit the bank at about 20, nice wave of snow came up the front and all 4 tires were off the ground. So dont feel bad, We were banked for 4 hours and it was around 10 degrees outside in the middle of farmland with knee deep snow.

One quick question...When you guys go mudding do you go onto the trail in 4wd..or do you have it in 2wd then flip it to 4wd when needed??

I use 4hi when just driving the trails, when its gets messy I switch to 4lo if its needed. The trick with mud is to keep the tires spinning so they dont get stuck in the suction of the mud.
