Default Humiliation... Total Humiliation...

well... my blazer let me down... big time...

i was over at my friends barn and he has a pond in the back, the water was low and a lot of squishy mud was exposed, so after mowing the grass with him we decided to give the new tires a spin in the mud...

turns out my 4x4 is out, high and low. I was approaching the pond and i was going to skirt the edge of it and just fling mud everywhere, but i hit the slope, and slid, front drivers side wheel in 2 inches of pond water and the rear passenger with no traction.

rear drivers side tire wouldn;t spin, the tire with no traction just flung mud everywhere and didn;t do anything and the front tires did nothing. i was stuck.

none of my friends with trucks/suvs that would be of any help were available and the only things we had were: a 20ft 10,000lb towstrap, 2 30ft thick metal chains, a 75lb anvil and finally a prius.

we threw the chains and the anvil in my trunk right next to the wheel well to help give leverage, lowered my tire pressure from 32psi to 20psi, used the tow strap to hook onto my towhooks and the back of the prius's frame, and after about 10 minutes of jerking we managed to pull my blazer out of the pond. neither of us had a camera and i wasn;t about to leave my blazer on a slope on the edge of a pond, so no pics are avaible, however i can get pics of the ruts i made in the pond as well as the barn and his prius etc.

im running retreaded BFG a/t kos with bfg M/T treads

yeah haha, couldn;t actually pull me at all, but we figured hey, its a 10,000lb towstrap and he just backed up a good 10-15ft and got a running start and got me out in a good 5-6 jerks

Probably should get that 4x4 fixed...

At least you weren't in a fully functional Blazer that got pulled out by a Prius

Why am I reminded of Jeff Dunham and his Prius bit??? LOL Now, if what he says is true, what does that make those that get pulled out by a Prius? LMAO!! Glad you aren't too down trodden by it. On the bright side, you got out and back on the road! Now get that 4wd fixed!

Yeah, I wouldn't really volunteer that info to any other people. You got pulled out by a Prius?!?!?!?!?!?! Well, if that isn't motivation enough to get the 4x4 fixed nothing is.

why be down, its hillarious.
getting stuck is because of my own idiocy, and partially the broken 4x4s part, but it makes one hell of a story to tell

my vacuum hosing is shot to bits most likely, im going though and pulling all the old crap out, the vacuum hosing in my a/c is shot too, im in for a fun day
