Well here is a more affordable soulution, http://www.harborfreight.com/off-roa...stem-3029.html
than all you need is a relay and the hid kit. and for $70 you get a whole lot of light.

I just put 4 of these with hids in them on a friends jeep and they are ridiculously bright

see i would rather go the other way with the chrome lights. i dont like the look of the plastic ones. they just look cheap to me. i will go the other way and get a set of the offroad ones with the hid upgrade. seems more sensable.

Yep, the hids are only 35w but they have 600,000 cadle power, as opposed to 300,000 with the 100w bulbs

I made my light rack removable... kind of like BAJA trucks I guess. I use a cross bar for the Yakima Load warrior extension.

Hella lights up top - they're cheapish. I use this setup at mountain bike races - we're always finishing up after the sun goes down.

I have 2 hella driving lights and 2 fog lights on the grille guard of my 2001 Blazer.

On my 1988 S-10 Blazer I have 2 driving lights on the bumper, 2 fog lights under the bumper, 4 lights on the safari rack and 2 reverse lights on the safari rack.
I cut out the center council by the 4x4 shifter where it's flat for all the switches. Looks great.

I just have 2 55 watt driving lights up top. But I plan on doing 4 up to and 2 or 3 on the front with harbor freight lights with hids

Just mounted my lights, haven't wired them yet though. These are just 55w lights I picked up at walmart. My ghetto rig using conduit mounting brackets to hold them to roof rack cost me all of $4 at Ace. Total 4 light setup was $50.
