Default Offroading trip this weekend

Did some serious offroading this weekend at a peice of land out by Raleigh/Durham Airport (Page Road). We had my blazer, lifted Jeep Wrangler (winch), Jeep Cherokee (winch), Izuzu Trooper, and Toyota Tundra.

Check out the pictures

Looks great. What kind of lift do you have on your blazer and what size are those BFG's? I can't wait to hit the trail tomorrow, it should be fun (but it might be raining, which will wash off the mud on the drive back[:@]).

Is that before or after the airport coming from Wilmington? I have been looking for some good spots.

It is right after, only a few minutes from the airport if you arecoming from Wilmington,I thinkI took the Page Road exit right off of I-40 but i could be confuesed because I got on the outer beltline(540) to get there whichI think was the longer way to go from whereI live. I live in west Raleigh, but i have a house down in Ocean Isle NC, not to far from Wilmington so im always looking for good spots to go wheeling out there. I see signs when im driving down their about mud races haha sounds cool butI have never seen one.

WHOA WHOA WHOA!!!!!

You should have posted up that you were goin! I woulda loved to have joined ya. I have never ventured out by the airport lookin for spots...lemme know next time ya'll are going!

My parent's house is bout 2 miles off 540 down leesville, and my apt is down by NC State, so 540/40/Airport are all on the way to pretty much everything for me

Hey Blazer00, I've done some of that in my Jeep Grand Cherokee but not yet had the opportunity to take the Blazer out. Good fun.

I see one of the trucks in your photo's is an Isuzu. Is it also called a BIGHORN? Here in New Zealand, all our Isuzu trucks (which is probably themost popular Japanese 4wd import alongside the Toyota Hi-Lux Surf) are called the bighorn. I thinkthe 3.0 ltr turbo diesel.

The isuzu is a called a trooper here but i think we are talking about the same thing. Oh and wolfpack, i would definatly love to have some more blazers out there, everybody is always impressed at how well blazers perform offroad. Ill make a post next time i go.
