question?

is there anything you can get put on the bottom of your car to prevent water from splasing up into the engine?

RE: question?

From the picture of you getting stuck theres not much to help lol

Anyhow maybe you could fab some kind of extended section to put on your "skid plate".
I would just seal up all your connections real good and wiring etc.

RE: question?

Where are you worried about water getting? The underside is pretty protected from non-boat oriented maneuvers :D

Edit: Just saw your pic. Nice [8D]. But yea that ones tough. Even if you sealed off the bottom side, theres holes all throughout the body for venting/flexing/weight saving. If youre going to be doing that alot, you might want to extend your differential vent tubes..water + gear oil does not work too well for the axles.

RE: question?

yeah be very careful.
Hydrostatic lock will blow a motor faster than over-rev with no oil.

and its almost always more expensive.

at least with an over-reved engine the pistons usually stay IN the block...

hahaha well said:D

If you end up in water, first step before restarting is to make sure your air filter is dry!
