I got to drive an H1 once... It had close to the same acceleration as my '85 S10 with the 2.8, lol

Ive never seen a Hummer in the woods,I once seen a Hummer Club on a man made offroad course. and they was doing like less the 5 mph on most of it.And yeah the only 1s that was doing good was the 3 H1's all the rest was H2s!

but on order to be fair...you have to look at what Hummer's were designed for....they weren't designed to be very effective in the small, narrow, rocky terraine of most of the midwest...in fact..most 4 doors are pushing the frame size to be nimble enough to manuever....that's one huge reason you don't see them off road in the woods...most trails aren't cleared wide enough for them...go out west and you see a ton of hummers on the ridge trails and other such things....*shrug* I don't like them either...

Yeah, the H1/H2 is more of a wide open vehicle...
But I tell ya, an H1 has got to be one of the most cramped vehicles I've ever driven! I wouldn't WANT to go far enough to find any trails with it, lol...
H2's aren't too bad... Short on leg room, though...
Haven't driven an H3 yet...

H2's are too heavy and the people that drive them think that they can do anything thats why they are the ones always being pulled out of something they couldent handle
