lockers dont affect gas mileage, but they can add some fun into your handling. sharp turns might create a hopping feel. (only with limited slip lockers). selectable lockers are the same as open diffs until you activate them, in which case both tires move at the same rate with no exceptions until you deactivate them.

So I decided to visit the scene of the crime one more time this morning, around 1am, with a spotlight to look for my lost cell phone. I was thinking it might be easier to spot when my light hit it. I was following my tire tracks and didnt get more than 50 feet off the pavement when I damn near stepped on a BIG Ol' cottontouthrattlemoccasin!!! Actually it was a rattlesnake and I truly almost stepped on the son-of-a-$*&^%. Skeered da crap outta me. Needless to say I gave up looking for the phone and turned right back around.
