Hey RangerG - do you ever smell those Alberta tar sands over there in Saskatchewan? Sometimes I think I can smell them here, but then I realize it's just my neighbour's greasy leaky car....

Haha I actually live on the border of Sask and Alberta. Can't smell the oil sands, but sure can smell all the riggers around here!

You got some skills there son! I see you were thinking ahead and let off a little tire pressure before hand. I wondered if you were gonna make it for a second there, but the extra bite looks like it got you up there!

...Still sweating and my butt is still clenched... The scary part was opening the door and having to jump all the way down to the ground.

Yup, that that massive rock crawling adventure ripped the sidewall of my tire... I was lucky to make it out alive.

So today I went out to do some more UW and found a huge asphalt mountain and I had to try it, why the hell not... I am part mountain goat and I have my trusty steed beneath me... (I removed one of my halfshafts because it was clicking, so I am only 2wd! Remember I am in a Bravada) I know, adventurous aren't I? 2WD in this scary outback tundra, death is at every corner.

Here is the massive asphalt mountain

I got a running start and I made it up the first few miles, but then I lost traction and I had to hit the brakes to keep from falling back down the mountain. Luckily I had a photographer there to catch all the action.

At least i made it over the massive obstacle... God love the G-80.

Next time I venture out into the Urban wasteland, I will be sure to have my AWD in proper working order!

2WD - that explains the white knuckles at ten and two

You see the fear don't you?

Actually my Mom took the pictures, I was out in front of her house and saw the chance conquer it... LOL. She thought I was a dork...
