and okvortec: that is why i put the bed liner on in the first place. additional shock/slide protection for the aluminum... don't know if it will really make a difference or not but hell... can't hurt it right?

I'll see what I can do. Daylight is at a premium now though... Its dark when I drive into work and dark when I leave to go home.

I must say, it is interesting getting the Rainier up on a rock between the delay in the locker and the willingness for it to switch back to RWD mode...
The K5 climbed right up on that rock without a problem although the driver door was a bit difficult to open when it was up there. Check out how much the frame tweaked in relation to the body in the middle shot on the top row!
