As PROMISED!!!!!!!!!!!

Be jealous of the 4in + snow curb flex!!!!!!!!!! (notice the snow, hence the rushed pictures and the abandoned run to Neal's Pull and Save... Plus I couldnt figure out how to remove the crossmembers without tools.. ie taking off the entire rack...)

entire rack comes off with 2 torx head screws per Q tower for a total of 8, then it just lifts off.

if you take a lugwrench out of a caprice and climb up on the roof and attempt to pry them out, you will break the plastic piece that connects the cross members to the outside rail. just incase you were wondering....

hmmm: sawzall would make salvaging cross rails take all of 2 minutes, and thats if you're slow climbing onto the roof

After reading all 58 pages so far, I'm gonna have to jump in on the action! I've already thought of an amazing place that I don't think anyone's done something like so far.

We're getting hit hard with a snow storm though currently (they're estimating 4 feet, which is huge here in Maryland), so I'll have to wait for that all to melt, then I'll have to steal my brother's camera lol.

So I finally built up the courage to get out and take pics, at 6 0'clock, at a restaurant. How many people can watch you take 2 pictures. I felt everyone staring at me in the joint. Probably asking themselves "Think he'll order chicken nuggets off the kids menu?"

So here's all ya get. I know cause I'm a ZR2 I need to go big, but the awkward looks I got really took their toll on my spirit.
