Nice vid. You made it ok, just needed more skinny pedal the first time. Also, some off-road tires vs. your street tires would of helped out A LOT, even without being locked. Skilled driving & good tires will go a long way when your off road.

my intent was to crawl up it as slow as possible... and i have 31X10.5 BFG's on there. and it was alot stepper then the video makes it look.

Are those mud tires? I couldn't see any lugs on them at all. If they are A/T's they are designed for both street & off road, get some M/T's as they usually have some beefy lugs to help keep you moving. Slow is a good way to do it, but in sticky mud, those treads are gonna fill up fast and thats where the momentum factor comes in. And your 100% right, pics & vid can never capture the true perspective, especially when it comes to depth of field. I have some pics & vid of me coming down the Devils Staircase in Sedona, AZ and it doesn't look nearly the same as it did in person.

EDIT: Found a pic. Notice the black on the rocks from the tires skeetching down the incline. It is much steeper than it looks here.

there A/T's and yea in the mud they need alot of gas, but when i giver they really do claw pretty damn good they surprise me what i can get through in 2wd with alot of gas

here is a pic of the tread lol. its the only one i have... dont worry the nails not there anymore and it only went into the tread lug never even punctured.

I added a pic to my last post

I personally use a less expensive alternative to the BFG's or GoodYear Wranglers. Many of my friends run these expensive tires and are impressed with mine. They are made by Cooper Tires and are Courser M/T's They are mud & snow rated. They are not too load on road, and preform nicely off road. yea for the past lil while i have been looking around for the best deal on an M/T tires, and I am leaning towards the dunlop radial mud rover, but i have never seen this tire before i wonder what the price comparison would be

Last set I got was $600. That included everything, road hazard warranty, mounting, balancing, old tire disposal, & tax. I could of gotten just the tire from the warehouse (thats no warranty, no mount, etc.) for roughly $100 each before tax. So it would of still cost me the same if I got them from the warehouse, and I wouldn't have the warranty. Any Cooper tire dealer should have them, or be able to get them. Just ask your local Canadian Tire, oh wait, they don't sell tires, they sell everything else! LOL! Just ask your favorite tire retailer.
