Default winch mounting

I would like to mount an electric winch on a 99 2dr Blazer. Not sure if I should put it on the front or back. Anybody have any good suggestions on how to go about it and how to install it?

I was gonna put mine between the frame rails just under the front bumper. You should use a thick piece of steel and use the stock skid plate and tow hook holes. That piece of steel will stretch from the pass. side frame to the drivers side frame. Weld a cross brace to the horizontal mount and bolt the cross brace to the inner sides of the frame. If your bumper is in the way, cut it or mount the winch up-side-down.

Look at the attachment.. I know I'm an awesome artist but don't compliment me, I don't want to make others jealous lol

ive had the reciever type winch for a while and prefer that over any front mounted winch. i think weve all been stuck before where if you go forward anymore your not gonna have a truck anymore. but then again a front one is better then nothing
