Wondering is there a roof rack I can get for my 1987 s10 Blazer. There is nothing on the roof so far, no bars etc. Id love to get something up there. Any leads? I found next to nothing i was confident in buying online.

I'd like one too, for my 2002 Xtreme. If I found one for a regular blazer, would it fit the Xtreme? Are there specific places in the roof that accept the screws? Would I need to take down the headliner? Inquiring minds want to know!

 

For the Xtreme, you would most likely go with a 2 door blazer's roof rack. Since the Xtreme's didn't come with one, you will have to drill holes and bolt it down, or rivet it in (nutserts, maybe?).
You will probably want the headliner removed to get a better visual from underneath. Be sure to seal everthing with RTV or a similar product.

 

So there are nuts under the sheetmetal? Do you know if there are nuts on the Xtreme as well and just not drilled through? If that was the case it would seem any old luggage rack would work just as well.
