Default 1st gen grille question

Is it a bolt on affair to convert the flat faced early 1st gen grilles to a later model 91-94 style grille? I like the smoother appearance of the later models and want to ditch my stock chrome/broken current unit.

Thanks for any help.

Well, I ended up sticking with my stock grille with a little bit of a gunmetal refresh. I'd post pictures but I got owned by lending my mom the digital camera for her trip to NY. BAH! It looks good too!

You know it's not hard to upgrade to a 91-94 s10 grill. If your interested let me know and I can tell you how. It's not hard and can be cheap. Let me know if you want more info.

This is what I ended up doing, pretty happy with everything but the crappy cell phone picture. Also waxed it up today, looks decent.

I was gonna say check on getting a 92 core support it works better then using the relocators. I only payed 40 for mine.

Lazyness owned me overall and I just did that. I dunno, I kinda dig the "brick" look. I sent some pics to the previous owner and he couldn't believe it was the same truck.

Cool I guess, but I always try to make each car I own mine and keep em clean.

Yeah I try to do the same thing. That's why I added the wing. But it's soon to be changed. I just don't know if I'm gonna put a different one back on it or not. So where's the pics of your ride. We know pics say alot. You should post some when you get a chance.
