Wink 2000 Blazer Door Cam Temp Fix

Hi to all on the board. I thought I would share a simple temporary fix I came up with for the doors not staying open on a 2Gen blazer. I first replaced the hinge pins & bushings which solved the sagging door issue. I then discovered the cam roller was worn and would not latch on the arm detent. I found a couple of excellent fixes on the board. I decided to try using a black zip tie on the roller to expand its diameter. I remove the spring with a pry bar and cinched the tie with a pair of snub nosed pliers. Then simply cut the excess off as close as possible I inserted the spring with $20 compression tool and now the door has a stop position. The width of the zip tie was about the same as the cam roller approximately 1/4 inch. Again just a 30 minute fix and temporary at best until I find time to do the better fix.
