I was hoping someone might be able to give me an answer to this one that has stumped me for a while now, on my dash, where the speakers are located, (the right speaker) on the speaker cover there is a small plastic bulb cover looking thing and i was wondering what this might be. Is it where the sensor for the auto-headlights is? Thats the only thing i can think of, but when I cover it with my hand, the lights dont come on. Thanks for the help!

 

hmm ive wondered that too. makes sense thats where the sensor is.

 

It is the ambient light sensor. There is quite a delay in activation of the lights.
