The wire. The 880 uses a plug that plugs in the 880 base, the h3 uses a wire soldered into the base that plugs into the truck
880 plug goes in
h3 plug goes out
880 plug goes in
h3 plug goes out

will an h3 bulb fit into a 1997 oem fog lamp that use 880 series bulbs?
