Default 95-97 headlamp part,unavailable?

I repaired my 97 Jimmy after striking a deer as I had all parts in stock. But one item is proving very elusive:the retainers that hold the lamp assembly to the core support! These are the vertical screws that have the little plastic caps on them and are about 6-7" long. GM & Dorman dont seem to carry these, all searches on line have been unsucessful as well. Junk yard specimans are my last hope, but I really want new ones as these are wear items(once the FE has been hit!)
BTW: Composite headlamps, mine is a 97,but 95 to that year are the same.
I have tried all the online parts suppliers as well...This is driving me nuts as I pick up these units all the time for parts and NEVER thought about these-DOH!
Anyone have a part #? Thanks in advance!

GM only. I found that out when I hit a deer as well.

Dobe Rottie: That is for sealed beam lamps,NOT the composite lamps. And Diaita,it seems that this part is no longer available from GM either as two dealers have already told me...If I could at least get a part number,I could search many NOS parts sites... Thanks for your responses!

Yes It's number 23. And It was confirmed that this part is now considered a "NS" item by a good AC/Delco jobber in this area, that means that its "not serviced" and no longer available individually. This shop also used some old discs to try and locate a part number, but it seems that one was never assigned(? How can THAT be?) I guess I'll be doing the salvage yard, but these items DO wear out and get destroyed in accidents. What gets my ire up is that the complete headlamp unit IS available with these also! Worse still is that I have actually thrown these away when salvaging parts off Blazers I pick up for parts,I am kicking myself while watching the treetops on my way home from work at 2 am! Thanks for all your input!

yep, but usually in an accident they would replace the entire headlamp assembly...which as you know includes all the parts...

Visited three salvage yards today, one didn't have any units 95-97,the other two refused to sell me these independently of the complete headlamp assembly,at $45 for a used, beat headlamp capsule(which I don't need) If anybody has any leads on these please advise...
